Pours black with a thick off white head. Has a big coffee and chocolate toasty presence, and is very smooth and velvety. Has a little bit of acidic flavor from the roasted malt. This is a good standby at Elliot Bay.
Sampler at the brewpub. Pours black with a tan head. Nose is of coffee. taste is of coffee and sweet caramel. Mouthfeel is medium-thin, thinner than I expected from a stout.
on tap at brewery. amazing aroma of buttery caramel and vanilla. slightly thin palate. coffee and toasted malt in the taste
