This was a pretty decent pilsner, although the hersbrucker stood out almost too much. Became very herbal and spicy especially towards the end with a harsh bitterenss. Otherwise a pretty standard well made german pils.
21/05/06 Porterhouse Central Dublin. Orangey golden body with an average head. Good hops in the taste balanced well with the malt. Resin hop nose and a long finish. Quite liked this pilsener!
Golden colored, little white head. Lively carbonation. Strongly hopped and fruity aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Crispy flavor, hops and fruits. Aftertaste is strongly hopped with dryness.
