Historical Community Tasting Notes

750 ml corked bottle. into chalice. Nice looking hazy wheat golden ale, with a lovelly large thick and bubbly white head. Fantastic nose on this beer. all the usual Belgian style yeast, malts and spices but ampliphied. Very fruity, pink apples, red plums come to mind. All the flavours mentioned in the nose are present a little banana and a tinge
Apple juice colored. 1/2 inch white head only lasts a few minutes. Light sweet and sour flavor. Light fizzy texture. Body is medium heavy though. Flavor is overall a little malty, sour and fizzy. Finish remains spritzy for a while. It comes across as somewhere between a champaigne an a beer and hides its alcohol well.
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2008 33cl Bottle. Really spicey aroma . Flavor is really fruity and spicey with notes of apples and peach. Really good Tripel!
