Historical Community Tasting Notes

Preserved from the RateBeer community archive (circa 2000–2018)

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2011 Slightly cloudy, big bubbly head. Citrus, hops, hay. Not sweet at all, to my surprise. Hoppy taste, yet not too bitter. Those Poperinge hop fields produce a very nice, dry base for this beer. Medium carbonation. Very tasty. (33cl bottle)
330ml bottle. Half a glass filled with thick white foam sitting on top of a base of hazy apricot coloured beer. Sweet aroma with some sour notes, spiced fruit. Flavour is reasonably mild with some tartness in the finish.
On 75cl bottle bought at Johnnys Off License beer shop, is one of the beer I like mostly. Hazy, yellow-orange, persistent froth, a little bit sweet and spiced. Very nice beer.
