The more I try Ambers, the less I like them. Thats not an indictment against this beer, as this is one of the best Ive had. The color matches the style perfectly with its beautiful amber glow. The head died rather quickly, but the grainy taste normally present in ambers is not here. In its place is a slightly sweet, yeasty flavor. Slight hop fin
Call me crazy, but I couldnt stand this beer. I am thinking maybe it was old or something, but it had an intolerable after taste and very little flavor.
Excellent ale. Best at a bar or bought 6 at a time. It gets a little skunky after sitting in the fridge for a few days.
