Vienna style lager . Amazing that this beer comes from Cleveland . I first had it there . I am delighted to see that my neighborhood deli. sells it by the sixer . Its got a mature angle about it. the nuttyness is nice, especially with certain foods . It has a certain swarthyness that keeps me coming back for more. Its great with hearty foods as
Beautiful amber lager which shows off some of the finest malt Ive encountered. Complex caramel, smoky and toasted flavors which slide down on a creamy palate. Malt is rather like Mahrs Ungespundet or Stoudts Gold, but more complex. Superb.
Big caramel nose from this deep red beer. The first word from my tasting notes says, "chewy". Teenie-tiny hops presence (35IBU). Pretty good with the sausage plate appetizer!!!
