(Draft: Eagle Brewing Co. in Mukilteo, WA) Wow, hard to find this place. Its looks like a small deli that used to be someones house, and they only had one of their beers on tap, the golden ale, and well, I guess I dont have much choice, golden ale it is, and Ill drink it while watching "When Harry Met Sally" on the tube. Not expecting much, I am
On tap at the brewery (restaurant?) Pale yellow, clear. Corn aroma. Instant malt on the tongue. Ale beginning and typical yellow corn finish. Seems like a new brewery. A drinkable first shot.
Pour is hazy, almost greenish-yellow with lots of rising bubbles and thin, soft head, lace rings. Taste is crisp and hoppy, clean, unassertive. Mild aromas. Average.
