UPDATED: APR 1, 2007 This was a surprise. I had this after a Dreadnaught it still held its own. Lots of citrus and a good amount of malt. im also surprised that its 7.5%. thats pretty big for a regular ipa. rerate. UPDATED: FEB 17, 2008 Poured out a medium amber color with little noticable head foam. Aroma of hops and sweet citrius. Damn, taste of hops and tangerines!! Yep, oranges. Pretty damn good stuff. Clipper City puts out some good beers, this one IMO is good too. Not exactly what I consider an IPA, but more of a straight up pale ale. Nice beer g
This sample is from buddy, Cornfield. What a nicely brewed IPA. Typical coppery gold pour with a lingering white head. The nose is a very robust and inviting hop onslaught of pine resin and grapefruit. The caramel malt backbone is very prominent and adroitly anchors the bitter hop profile effortlessly.
