Historical Community Tasting Notes

Draught at Augustiner Bierhalle. Crystal clear deep golden colour with solid white head. Crisp, herbal, grassy nose. Ultra-clean mouthfeel with light-medium crisp body with elegant grassy hops. Low bitterness. An incredibly tasty beer that is not malt driven and also hoppier than the average Helles. Who cares when its tasty!
It is quite pale in the glass, the foam has large pores and evaporates very quickly. smells hop dominated. The taste is very balanced. The malty notes come through better, the bitterness in the aftertaste is good. Towards the middle part it will be more spicy.
Decent enough beer. Easy drinking. More depth than a typical helles. Id happily drink this instead of a Bud, but the price isnt very user friendly. I little too expensive.
