I purchased a growler of this at a distributor in PA. Its pretty wierd, because PA distributors dont usually sell growlers. But there it sat, two of them right up at the counter. So I took advantage of the situation and brought one home. Yellow Snow pours an orange color with very little head. There is minimal lacing around the glass, as well.
650 ml bottle @ Craft Beer Co., London. Rated on 20110720. Pours hazy amber colour with small head. Aroma is hops, fruits, resin, syrup and a bit caramel. Flavour is hoppy fruits, syrup, a bit of caramel and somewhat metallic taste at the end. A bit too sweet for me. 4314
From the 22 ounce bottle. It pours orange with yellow hues and a puffy head. The aroma has a nice malty character mixing well with the hoppy scent. The body seems creamy and filling. Hops are far more abundant in the taste with a definite earthy bitterness at the end.
