Pours a nice glowing amber into the glass, with a diminished head. Huge citrus-grapefruit and floral bitters to the nose. Lots of citrus upfront, with shining grapefruit and a distinct pine bitter back. Big mouthfeel with zesty carbonation levels, it is superbly integrated. This screams top-tier from the beginning of the pull. A true delight.
UPDATED: APR 23, 2009 Pours a very hazy yellow with a nice dense white head and yeast floating around in the glass amisdst the golden yellow backdrop. Smells strongly of citrus, pine, and some floral as well. Taste is citrus/fruity. There is some lemon, grapefruit and even orange. This one is very fruity and almost sweet at times. Some earthy
[1908-20081219] 500mL bottle. Spruce sap aroma with strong evergreen hops and a mild background of sweat. Clear, light orange body with medium-lasting creamy white bubbles. Juicy evergreen spruce flavour has a great bitter balance. Medium body is quite bitter. Lovely, lovely hoppy bitter brew, really drinkable. (w/ jerc, tupalev)
