In a brown glass 22 oz. "bomber" bottle. Beer pours into a Corsendonk Christmas glass, a very dark brown, seemilgly jet black liquid with very little, or no head that doesnt stick around long. The aroma is intensely smoked, with a fishy, raw salmon character - my thoughts of Alaska exactly. Well, maybe I expected more king crab, but salmon will
Pours black with a small tan head. Extreme smoke in the nose, a little roast also. Flavors are mostly smoke and coffee. A very good porter that I really look forward to trying again.
Bottle 2002 vintage poured a translucent dark brown with a brown head. Aroma of smoke, hint of maple, and coffee. Flavors of smoke, cocoa and a hint of licorice.
