12oz bottle from Winooski. Appearance : Clear shiny amber with tiny head that goes away instantly. No lacing at all. Aroma : Brown sugar with caramel and some spices. Some cloves. A bit better with the yeast. Nose get some nice yeasty notes but its still mainly spices. Taste : Some wheat with spices. Light caramel and dark fruits. Finish has some
Tallahassee, Fl - Liquor Loft - 12 oz bottle. Dark orange and amber pour with a sticky khaki colored head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Sweet yeasty aroma with some molasses notes and some baked bread goodness. Flavor is on the sweet side but not cloying. Pick up some clove notes, caramel, molasses and some fresh baked bread. Pours an amber color with a medium white head which leaves little lacing. Aroma is alcohol, dark crystal malts, and light earthy hops. Taste is much the same, very heavy on the sugary dark fruit and crystal malts.
