12 oz Bottle-Batch #7952-trade w/Acknud (who I forgot to credit in my 1st 2 bells reviews!) Jet black w/almost no head but good lacing which lasted thru the brew. Strong rosted malt aroma. Great flavor, more chocolate & licorice than coffee, also had some traces of vanilla & a strong roasted malt presence. Very good, very smooth, & very easy drink
This stout blew me away. The aroma was mild, slightly chocolately and malty. The taste was a blast of chocolate and roasted malt with a swirl of complexity that I couldnt completely pick apart. It finished smooth with the flavors lingering only as long as they should. There was nothing negative about the mouthfeel and finish, I was very pleased
Single bottle from World Market in Mooresville, NC. Pours a dark dark brown with a small head. Aroma is all roasted malt and some cocoa. Taste is strong coffee and malt. Wonderful.
