1/22/10. Bottle. Red brown pour with a fluffy tan head that sticks. Sweet fruity aroma with big sour vinegar aroma that borders on unpleasant. Sweet malty flavor with caramel and a hint of sweet, vinegar sourness that reminds of balsamic vinegar. Meh.
Pours a cloudy dark brown. Substantial head that doesnt last, mild lacing. Taste is very similar to Dubbel Bruin, much dark fruit, somewhat sour, and one-dimensional. I expected this to be more complex and more palatable.
Draft sample at FS KC. Clear bronze color with a small tan head. Light sour aroma of lacto and caramel. Kinda thin flavor that really trends towards a flemish red. I like it but wish it was more pronounced.
