UPDATED: JUN 30, 2007 Bottle. Sweet peach and hops aroma. Reddish amber with small head. Sweet apple juice with strong alcohol/hops finish which tends to overwhelm any other flavor. Will let the other bottle age some as this one was not too spectacular. Okay, I aged this about 15 months, lets see what it did. Still pretty sweet but seems t
Im drinking the 2005 version, so maybe this has some time to age. The aroma was remarkably light for a beer of this style. Perhaps a little dry hopping wouldve added to the experience. The appearance is average and ordinary. The flavor overwhelmingly alcohol. The alcohol flavor is not strong, but theres just not much else to it. I may have to
Served on draught. Poured dark copper with a thick white head. Aroma had caramel, graitfruit, citrus, rum, courant and dried fruits. Flavor was dry with courant, caramel, dry cherries, cascade hops and a powerful alcohol presense. Aftertaste was very ligering. It tasted like Rum straight up. Pretty good.
