dk magenta with med thick lasting tan head. med syrupy body w/ good carbonation citrus dk fruit and cinnamon aroma w/some nutty grain. tastes of honey nut biscuit with cinnamon light raisin and orange, sweet but good bitterness. well rounded and what you would expect of rogue
Deep chestnut brown with little head. Flavor has little hoppiness and is extremely sweet, with a distinct nuttiness. For me, the overly sweet character is off-putting. I guess if you like hazelnuts this is equivalent to drinking them.
22 oz. bomber and on draft yesterday. Poured a deep dark brown. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with a hint of hazel nut and bittering hops. Not all that complex or intriguing. Nice balanced brown ale.
