Very cloear copper colour- surprisingly so. Perhaps quite filtered. Not much head to speak of, some minor lacing. Smell- smells quite sugary. Taste- very sweet wtih the woods fairly pronounced. Medium cabonation. Slightly boozy with caramel and doughy malts in forefront. The hops are more herbal and grassy than bitter citrus. It finishes decently t
THOUGHTS: Almost more of a barley wine. If it didnt say double IPA, I never would have guessed it. Mostlry malt sweetness. Not much hops. Its also a little like Raison DEtre. Another extreem masterpiece from Dogfish head. The only thing missing is some hop flavoring. But I guess all the hops that were in here are there to just keep the beer from be
A little bitter to the taste. Poured amber colored with a shallow head. very bitter hops.
