500 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a Weizen glass. JN 27/08.[br/][br/] App.: Hazy orange-golden with a fair white meringue. Aroma: Cereal and wheat, slightly tangy, light banana esters, a bit grassy, lightly smokey (really??), slightly spicey. Palate: Medium body, medium-full effervescence, somewhat astringent. Fl
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2008 Has the aroma and flavour of a typical Hefeweizen. Citrus, yeast, banana, cloves, and bubblegum. A bit sweeter than other hefeweizens I have had (a good thing). I am a huge fan of Hefe Wiessen beers and this was an excellent choice for me. I can honestly say that I enjoyed it very much. It had the traditional banana/clove taste but was sweeter with a little more spice to it. I thought it had a very nice nose and a clean crisp finish.
