On-Tap, Fuel and Fuddle, Pgh, PA Poured a deep amber. Nice creamy, frothy light brown head. Aroma not very stong, but it was malty and sweet. Flavor sweet, hint of caramel, with grainy notes (oats), and very malty. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. I know this is rated low, but I really enjoyed it. It was perfect for a spring nig
This beer is like Texas itself. Texans talk and talk and talk about it as if its the best thing ever, and youve got your hopes all high, and then you get there and see for yourself and just a great wasteland full of cows, tumbleweeds, and cops. Or a sub-mediocre thin malty bock, as the case may be.
Ruby pour, thin head. Sour malt aroma. Sweet on the palate and smooth, but thin. Candy, malt, sugar are all in the flavor. Mild lingering finish.
