Any true beer lover cant help but love this beer ! It has a refreshingly unique flavor that is not for the uniniated ! If you are the kind of beer drinker that is happy with typical commercial beers than SPATEN is not for you, and it goes without saying that the OPTIMATOR will knock you on your a** !( at 7.2% alcohol). Although this is my favorite German beer, I prefer beers from other countries. The beer is strong and the taste borders on overpowering. You can taste the alcohol, unfortunately.
