Bottled. Thx Marsiblursi. Red-ish with wonderful creamy head. Malt play 1st violin in aroma, before the hops set in with pine and citruic notes. Also, bit of toasty "rye bread" here. Good IIPA malt sweet with lurking hoppiness at first, after comes a long, biting bitterness that lasts long. Good caramelly backbone. Maybe a bit too bitter. Tad vani
Deep amber color with a one finger frothy beige head. Puffed wheat nose with pine resin hops. I remembered liking this beer a lot, and it did not disappoint. Rich, malty caramel and light toast under an almost chewy grapefruit, pine, and hop resin bitterness. As it warms the toast starts to taste a little burnt, but in a good way, and the long
22oz bottle, this one pours exceptionally dark for what i smell is an IPA, not IIPA, tastes like a thicker bodied more smooth IPA, i thought it was good, and tasty.
