Historical Community Tasting Notes

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a slight, beige head. Nose is lightly roasted and sweet malts with notes of coffee. Flavor is great, quite roasty and malty with quite prevalent coffee character. Body is light to medium and pretty fizzy. Nice finish, mild bitterness and some slight stickiness. Pretty solid. I could drink many of these.
Dark amber/brown color with a tan creamy head .... aroma of nuts and roasted malts .... taste of roasted malts, nutty and sweet caramel with a little bittersweet hop finish .... a sessionable and decent brown ale .... medium to full bodied
Purchased at The Fresh Market, Greenville, NC Inviting smell; tastes heavy but the body isnt. Delicious.
