Bottle from Beers of Europe. Rich purple brown, with a little head. Rich aroma too - fruitcake, marmite, currant etc. Tasty flavour - thick berries and cake. Sweet and heavy, though this doesnt carry all the way and the aftertaste is a little watery; clean when first in the mouth, edging towards a Scottish Ale, then ending up as a fruity Bitter. I
Cacao, caramel and red berries in the aroma. Sweet flavor with caramel, red berries and milk chocolate. Medium bodied. Bittersweet berry aftertaste. maybe a bit onedimensional, but very likeable. A pleasant surprise from Mexico.
Brown body, medium head. Caramel, sugar and fruit in the aroma. Despite the sweetness, finish was dry and rather hoppy. Full of taste, with a robust mouthfeel. Nice ale.
