Bottle: Hazed amber hue with small but lasting head and good lace. The aroma has notes of rye, carmel, biscuit, aromatic and grassy hops, and a touch of pear. The taste starts fruity and bitter with a nice dose of rye for a kick. Its reasonable and smooth, very refreshing. Biscuity and toasty balance too. The feel is lively and never boring. A yumm
this was damn good! this one was one of the first i had of the day, as well as one of the best. orange in color, with a nice hop kick to the smell as well as the taste. malty as well and very well balanced. this was a good beer. very good. sampled at brewgrass 04 on draught.
Pours a very hazy golden color with a creamy head.Just like the ad says:floral hops.perfumy,citrus.Very nice.The rye malt adds a different flare altogether.the nose from this isnt quite telling the whole story here.hops do come thru but they are toned down by the rye malt.
