The head is thin, but there is a rim of small white bubbles - not unexpected of such a high alcohol/hop beer. The beer has a very citursy/piney hop aroma with absolutely no other aromas, which is surprising. It has a slight alcohol aroma. Its copper in color and very clear - but not brilliant. Pours a light ruby brown colour, head is thin white bubbles. The aroma is grapefruity and well hoppy. Each sip is heavy and almost syrupy, but not bad. Slight alcohol aftertaste, more of a head case from the alcohol content. Not as bitter as I expected, in fact slightly sweet.
A vey strong ale. This ale is more like a meal. It very aromatic in the hops sense. It quite a bit more bitter than expected, but still a decent brew. fairly pricey at around 12 bux a bottle. definite alcohol presence here. every drink leaves you staring at the glass again, wow!
