This barley wine smells like a friendly mix of Christmassy aroma. There are notes of caramel, toffee and coconut with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and orange candy. Subtle variations of malt and molasses surface as the beer warms, producing a rich and seductive scent that promises a warm, festive taste character.
On the tongue, it has a complex character. A strong malty backbone balances the caramel's and coconut's initial sweet taste.
