UPDATED: FEB 14, 2007 500 ml bottle - pours hazy blonde with a nice head. Aroma somewhat spicy with some banana and soft citrus notes. Taste - your standard hefeweizen, nothing that really stands out, but not bad either....banana, some bitterness and yeast. OK finish. Everything about this beer screams "average". Basic stuff.
16.9 oz bottle - Pours cloudy yellow with a light citrus and yeast aroma. It tastes too bland. Lively carbonation gives an okay mouthfeel, but its a little thin bodied. The finish is refreshing. The #1 hefeweizen in the world, huh? They must mean in sales because its certainly not in quality.
At Pourhouse 50, 5 ounce sample. Light whitish colour with good creamy head, medium mouthfeel and creamy, lace in glass. Some smell of wheat but unfortunately the glasses are bleached out. Easy drinking but also ran wheat. Not all that much taste, but thirst quencher
