Historical Community Tasting Notes

Clear copper coloured, small but lasting head. The moderate banana aroma actually works out quite well in this one, not nearly as unsettling as in some other examples (Mongozo comes to mind). The flavour is more like a typical British bitter, not very complex and the fruit isnt very apparent. Still, the pint is easily finished (but that might be be
Bottle. Aroma of banana extract, like banana flavoured medicine. Flavour slightly less banana-y quite sweet bready malty, although some bitterness in aftertaste. I really really didnt like this and struggled to finish the bottle. Yeuch.
This is an alright beer, not overly heavy with the bananas but at the same time I dont think I could drink more than a pint of the stuff before it gets sickly. Drank from a (British) pint bottle.
