750cl bottle poured into tulip glass. This is one of my wifes favorite styles so I tasting her beer. Nice fig nose and good amount of carbonation. Dark brown with a nice foamy head. Taste is great mix of fig/caramel and something nutty, maybe almonds. Very enjoyable beer.
9-dec-2010 Draught at Cafe de Veldpoort. Nice amber beer with smallish persistent beige head. Smell is fruity and quite intense. Taste is sweet and malty, with a medium long aftertaste. Quite a good beer!
i like the dank reddish look of the brew with the floaties. sweet and kerosene like (muscatel)and then fruit like a sangria. otherwise as described with a dark malt character that seems controlled.
