Bottled. Clear gold with a thin white head. Has a rather honey-ish caramel aroma, some light appley fruit notes. This is thin feeling and syrupy tasting with very little hop flavor to cut the bland sweetness of it. Has sweet malty flavors of honey, caramel, apple, biscuit that I found very cloying. Has a little bit of a plasticy chemical hint.
Abfullung Schloss Eggenberg--Urbock 23 P--1999 11.2 oz. Bottle. 9.60% ABV. (4.25 / 5.0) Clear golden color. Smooth rich flavorful light textured body. Nice light balancing alcohol bite at end, but smoothness dominates. Sampled 3/27/1999.
very malty aroma,golden, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter,salty, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish.
