This DDH IPA is/was brewed by Track in Manchester, Greater Manchester, England. It's achieved an overall score of 69.8%. Based on 1 tasting, the average ABV is 7.00%. It was purchased from R&H Fine Wines in Liverpool on 2 Aug 2025.

Always Returning is a 7% double dry-hopped IPA from Track, brewed with Windsor's Two Flints. Three expressions of Citra meet the New Zealand pairing of Nectaron and Rakau – a recipe for a densely aromatic beer stacked with citrus and ripe stone fruit.

It pours a thick, hazy yellow under a generous white head. The nose is saturated from the first sniff: orange, grapefruit and lime alongside apricot, nectarine and passion fruit, with a light resinous note underneath keeping it from turning entirely sweet.

Citra lays the vivid citrus groundwork – juicy orange and pink grapefruit first, then lime zest and a softer suggestion of mango. The different concentrated forms of the hop crank up the aromatic intensity without ever making the flavour feel disjointed.

Nectaron brings ripe peach, nectarine and tropical fruit, while Rakau adds apricot and a deeper, almost candied stone-fruit note. Between them it's like sticking your head into a particularly ripe fruit bowl – though a faint herbal edge lingers in the background.

The body is full, creamy and pillowy, oats and wheat providing the soft texture you'd expect from a modern hazy. Bitterness is restrained, but grapefruit peel, hop resin and a gently dry finish give it enough structure to hold all that fruit together.

The strength is exceptionally well hidden. There's a little warmth as it develops, but the smooth body and saturated hop character make this dangerously approachable for a 7% IPA.

It's a polished collaboration between two breweries thoroughly at home with heavily hopped beer. The triple Citra treatment brings intensity and familiarity, while the Nectaron and Rakau add enough peach, apricot and passion fruit to give it an identity of its own.

Soft, expressive and packed with beautifully defined fruit – another accomplished hazy from Track, and a good indication of why Two Flints has been attracting so much attention itself.
