Tap. Hazy brownish orange pour with a fluffy, lasting white head that leaves lots of lacing. While the aroma has lots of fruity hops it also has a solid malt profile, with notes of passionfruit, orange, grapefruit, caramel and nuts. Flavour pretty much mirrors the aroma, striking a nice balance between the malty sweetness and the hoppy bitterness.
2 separate experiences with this beer. First one was disappointing. Lacked flavour and bitterness. Second experience: awesome! big tropical fruit hop flavour. Bitterness was just great. Good looking beer. Thick head. Heaps of lacing. A really good IPA!!
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2010 this IPA is quite tasty. full of hops, but could be a bit more in your face with them. slightly grassy, with a strong citrus undertone
