Historical Community Tasting Notes

Preserved from the RateBeer community archive (circa 2000–2018)

Quenching English-style ale with little of the complexity of the best of the style it seeks to emulate. Poured an amber colour, with a lasting beige head. Aroma has enticing floral hops and sweet malt. Toffee, apples and malt on the tongue. Light in body and easy drinking. (Bottle)
Maybe its because Ive been drinking Tooheys and VB but this wasp retty good. Dark brown colour with a solid white head. Reasonably hoppy aroma, taste isnt mindblowing but its solid. Good initial hoppiness balanced by a sweet toffee malt back bone. A little indistinct on the finish
Citrus nose alot like Little Creatures. Copper brown hues. A smooth refined ale with some lasting malt. I wld have tried this alot earlier if it wasnt for the dodgy marketing.
