Historical Community Tasting Notes

I am not going to trash this beer but I was very dissapointed. Beautiful pour and the color was black and looked fantastic. The taste however was thin and kind of flavorless. They could have done better with this one. It goes down easy but just dissapointed me( No real personality). Not bad just not what I was hoping for.
Pours black. Aroma is of roasted malts. Flavor is very complex. Coffee, roasted malts, woodsy, smokey, earthy. Finish is nice and bitter. Damn good porter.
(Bottle) Smooth malty and totally delicious. If your looking for a good english porter look no futher. Memorable and perfect for beginners of the style.
