500mL bottle. A deep ruby pour with a big, extremely creamy tan head that leaves some good lacing. Subdued aroma is of creamy coffee, sweet malts, molasses and hints of banana esters. Bottle: Very dark rust-brown with a tick tan head and some sediment. Very expressive dried fruits and stewed quince aromas with some light roastyness, spicy toffee, and dark herbal notes. Bottle. Nice aromatic, sweet, toffee-like raosted chocolate malty aroma. The are hints of metal in the aroma as well. Aroma is not as persistent as Id like it to be.
