500 ml bottle. Amazing beer. Nice dark color with a decent head that lasted the whole glass. The nose was super smoky. Did it actually smell like Smoked Salmon, or do I just automatically associate that flavor the the pink fish. Nose of teryaki even. What a strong smoky aroma anyway. The smokiness continued into the flavor to be accompanied
The sweetest of the Aecht beers so far. The aroma is sweet as well as smokey. The appearance is a deep maroon brown and the head is smaller than the other Aecht beers. The sweet flavor in this one is similar to molasses. The palate could be a bit thicker. Overall this is the best of the Aecht smoke beers.
The darkest and sweetest version of the Rauchbiers. its a a molasses taste of high malts and low hops. Very sweet, the smokeyness is plentiful. Thsi the first beer I have rated that I put with a food pairing.
