33cL bottle at Brick Store Pub. Poured a deep black with a substantial caramel head. Espresso, rum, currants, heavy roasted malt, and a whole lot more going on in the nose. Hoppy bitterness and alcohol were the first flavors to hit the tastebuds, followed by coffee, bakers chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol and spices. Dry roasty finish carried th
The most complex stout I have had so far. Very foamy that slowly dissipates. Extremly dark brown. Roasted Malt smell a little cheesy. Slight Bitterness does hit your taste buds at first but it does smoothen out with chocolate caramel consistency. Its like a stout that meets a Belgian Brown Ale (like a Rochefort 10 meets a stout.)
Huge foamy dark tan head. Rather sour aroma, with some dark fruit. Muted roast malt flavors, complemented by fig, current, and plum flavors. Finish is slightly musky. Mouthfeel is an even medium.
