Historical Community Tasting Notes

Sort of disappointed in this one, though it very well may have been because it was Memorial Day weekend, and this is an Oktoberfest. I loved the golden color and the thin head. The flavor was a bit bolder than I expecting with an aftertaste experience sort of like after a shot of whiskey. I am rating this, though conditionally.
Draft pour, clear and golden color with a fine ringed head. German malt. a touch of honey in the nose. Medium-bodied, but elevated by the carbonation, and a soft lingering finish. Rich and malty in flavor with a crisp, bitter finish. Enjoyable. Would be fantastic with good German fair.
Bready aroma and flavor, a classic style Oktoberfest, not over the top flavor but still very good.
