750mL bottle, pours hazy dark copper / murky brownish orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, light spices and orange rind - didnt detect any smoke. The smoke comes out more in the flavour, with some yeast and dry orange zest. Decent - definitely not one of Unibroues best.
Non essendo un fan di queste tipologie un po improvvisate, lho trovata comunque molto piacevole: al naso ha una complessit che offusca il carattere torbato; fra i due abbinamenti, quello con asparagi e speck il migliore. Il salmone+cognac faceva risaltare troppo laffumicato nel bicchiere.
Bottle from Viti in Vancouver. Pours an amber color with a nice and persistent white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Notes of apple, hops and some yeast. Flavour has notes of toffee, yeast and apples. Medium carbonation. Tastes like a bigger beer than its alcohol content. Very good.
