A nearly black pour with crimson highlights and a fluffy tan head. It has a bready, caramel malt aroma with a touch of hops. The medium body has a sweet taste with average carbonation and an oily texture. The finish is dry with some slight alcohol taste.
500 ml bottle. Rated @ 12.4.2009. Pours a dark brown colour with a thick beige head. Looks delicious. Aroma of caramel malts and honey. Bready flavor of malts, mild hops and sweet fruits. Full bodied, sticky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. A delicious brew.
Crazy malt palate. Malted milk, corn on the cob, and butter maple. Little hop presence. Pours a perfect dark brown, almost light black. Impressive tick frothy head. A first rate doppelbock. So you can run and tell that. Homeboy.
