12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Bright clear copper with lasting dense flat head and lotsa lace. Fresh hop aroma with slight citrus. Very well-balanced flavors, fruity malt, pine, and some citrus. Medium-full body and medium carbo. A fine beer, but not as special as an Anniversary Ale deserves, especially from a great brewery like Sierra Nevad
Bottle: Clear, copper color with a frothy off-white head and sticky lacing. The nose is sweet and pleasant, earthy hops. The flavor is not as powerful as I would expect. Its almost like the famous Pale Ale is a bit sturdier in body. But this definitely has the prolonged hop bitterness which is nice.
Clear copper pour and medium white head that stay and leaves lotso f lacing. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is much the same grapefruit bigtime, caramel, biscuit, some floral and pine hops as well. Bothing crazy but a good amount of malt to this and lower IBU levels makes this a very drinkable beer.
