Pours a orange/ruby color with a thin white head. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell the hops. Nice aroma of floral and pine hops. Very solid beer though, with just an overpowering amount of hops in it. Very good, almost a little too bitter. Great Divide really has some good stuff though.
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2008 Beautiful clear orange-red pour with a thick white head and lots of carbonation and bubbles. Piny hops with lots of flowers and hints of fruit. Very hoppy and bitter. A bit too much for me. Some cream and malt on the finish, but just too much overpowering bitterness.
heavily hopped and malted like the description says. slightly syrupy. hops are piney and floral. lingering bitter wonderfulness
