UPDATED: JUL 5, 2003 Surprise, this is a good beer. The beer that is available in the US, now comes from Munich. The beer comes in a green bottle, but I kept it from light. Very bright golden color. Pasteurization is noticable, but not a huge detractor. The nose is very malty. The palate is sweet and malty. The beer finishes malty with a late linge
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2003 Ugh, definitely not as good as I made it out to be when I first started drinking beer. It's fairly plain, nothing interesting to find in this beer. Not to say that it's bad though.
If I think of the word "beer", and everythind I disliked about it before I discovered micro-breweries, ales and wheatbeers, I would think of this, "Lwenbrau". Lifeless, spiritless, tedious and naked.
