Historical Community Tasting Notes
Preserved from the RateBeer community archive (circa 2000–2018)
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from a mix six pack. Aroma: There is a good dose of wheat, lemon, and a slight off metallic note. Fairly light all the way around though. Appearance: It pours a cloudy amber orange with a small, foamy, white head. Decent head retention. Taste: I am greeted by a nice light lemon note first but then that off metallic note
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2010 Shiner, Shiner. The more I hear about this brewery the less impressed I am. Still, I like Shiner Bock, and will happily drink it any time.
Aroma of a very mild hefe, its evident here that this brew is weak. Mild hops, mild fruit, mild flavor. Low end of the hefe spectrum here.
