Historical Community Tasting Notes

Deep dark ruby, more opaque then a typical stout. Very nice frothy small light brown head that leaves nice lacing. Deep dark raosted malt aroma, chocolate and coffee are prominent. Burnt/roasted malt flavor dominates. Very little hops as expected for the style. Body is medium light, a wee bit light for the style. Overall a decent stout but I expect
This is one tasty dry stout - intense toastiness all around, with roasted malts downright assaulting the tongue, and sticking around on the palate for a ridiculous amount of time - I would go as far as saying that the dark coffee and chocolate flavors in this one are almost up there with the Old Rasputin - this is that beer's less potent, but just
Dark brown, lasting tan head.Dry malt & light coffee nose. Dry malt and toasted flavor with dry, but bitter finish. A bit on the thin side
