Bottle. Courtesy of Degarth. Nut and roast malts in the aroma. Poured a deep dark brown almost black with a tan head. Flavor is good starting sweet courtesy of the crystal malts then turning roasty and nutty with a slight chocolate in there and some coffee as well. Palate is nice, light and flowing yet rich enough to stick around. Very enjoya
Nutty and fairly roasty aroma has some biscuity characteristics as well. Dark brown body with ruby highlights is topped by a decent, fine bubbled tan head that lasts well and leaves some sudsy lacing. Sweetness up front is quickly replaced by roasty malts and fair bitterness. Chocolate lasts in the aftertaste. Medium light body with fair carbon
Dark, nutty aromas waft up from this deep brown brew. Coffee more than chocolate on the nose. Palate is quite light, yet long. Assertive coffee and nuts on the taste. A long porter that is not at all syrupy or thick.
