Historical Community Tasting Notes

~11mo old bottle. Pours hazy copper with a humongous head - at least 3 fingers. Aroma of sweet and sour fruits. Flavor is apple, cloves, some citrus, a little chalkiness. Hard to pinpoint precisely all of the flavors in this beer - its very complex. Not quite as good as other bottles Ive had - I think its better around the 4-5 month range. Will hav
love this one. bottle was aged 5 years. pours hazy amber with a huge head that sticks around. aroma is sweet sugar, dried red fruit, leather, rich malts, and a little smoke. drinks sweet apple and candied red fruit and spice up front and finishes with a nice malt caramel and spice. fantastic with age!
Believe I may have gotten an "off" bottle. Aroma was sharp with a hint of metallic. Flavor was similarly tainted with a dry finish that served to accentuate. Will rerate.
