UPDATED: NOV 10, 2009 Bottle. Light roasted and bready malt notes, moderate herb and a bold grapefruit hop smell, light broth for the yeast, and light notes of cherry, apple, anise, pepper and cooked vegetables in the background. Head is (almost identical to Hop Devil) thin, white, creamy/bubbly, has excellent lacing and is mostly diminshing. Color
Pours burnished golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Aroma of orange, mango, sour citrus, resinous herbs. Taste is resinous, hoppy with grassy, citric, grapefruit notes, light biscuit in the background. Mouthfeel is full bodied, moderately resinous with lively carbonation. Solid but standard IIPA.
Pours a gold color with a slow-lasting foamy white head with plenty of lacing. Aroma is piney hops and citrus. Taste is citrus, grassy and piney, and bitter.
