Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom for this very nice beer. Vintage 2006 enjoyed December 2008. It is pitch black and it has practically no head. The aroma has notes of vanilla, chocolate, oak and bourbon, it is very well balanced. An awesome beer on tap at the Malt House in Madison, another Ive been waiting a while to try. Pours a thick thick black colour with a very little brown head. We are talking motor oil thick. On the nose it is strong of oak, smoke, chocolate, burned coffee beans and toast. Taste is rich, incredibly flavourful with notes of all things previously liste
